Michelle’s Story

Michelle turned to Homeopathy after struggling with abdominal issues, sleep, and anxiety for many years. After several consultation and failed treatments Michelle found registered homeopath Dr Marliese Symons and the impact on her wellbeing is remarkable.

“In 2016, during my second year of university, I started suffering from extreme and constant abdominal pain and bloating. I was also experiencing sleep issues and anxiety.

My symptoms continued for many years. I was scared to eat and this struggle with food meant I was unhappy, both physically and mentally. So much of my time was taken up trying to manage my debilitating symptoms, it left little time for anything else. All of this had a huge, negative impact on my working and home life.

From 2016 until 2021, I consulted three different doctors and had two endoscopies. The doctors said my symptoms were a result of stress, IBS and functional abdominal pain. The treatments they prescribed came with major side effects, including weight gain, low energy and extreme drowsiness which left me unable to function normally.

I knew about homeopathy from my mum who is a holistic vet and finally decided to try it as nothing was working. I was introduced to Dr Marliese Symons by a mutual friend and started treatment with her in May 2021. I am based in the USA so all my appointments were virtual.

Marliese treated me for the abdominal pains, sleep issues and also anxiety. The remedies (which were sent to me by post) had no side effects but were astonishingly effective – my stomach pains completely disappeared.

After the treatment, I felt so much better, both physically and emotionally.  My life became so much more positive – I was able to focus on work and make progress in my career, and my home life was also much better. Marliese is an amazing practitioner and I would have no hesitation recommending her.”
