Dumfries and Galloway Homeopathy
Welcome to Dumfries & Galloway Homeopathy – two charitable clinics located in New Galloway and Stranraer offering low-cost appointments to people in the Dumfries and Galloway region. These clinics are run by homeopath Elaine Hamilton, who is registered with the Faculty of Homeopathy.
Appointments are available 10am-1pm on alternate Wednesdays at the following locations:
First appointments are £20 and follow-up appointments (four maximum) are £10. The first prescription is free of charge and patients pay for subsequent prescriptions (usually between £7 – £18).

Elaine Hamilton RGN BSc (Hons) Homeopathy, FFHom
Elaine is a homeopath and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. After qualifying as a nurse, she studied homeopathy with the Faculty of Homeopathy and at Napier University, Edinburgh. Following this, Elaine spent 16 years as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at the NHS Centre for Integrative Care in Glasgow. Elaine was Nursing Dean of the Faculty of Homeopathy from 2004 to 2007.
Elaine says: “I became interested in complementary medicine when I fell ill with ME. After recovering, I trained as a homeopath and integrative healthcare practitioner so that I could introduce more people to this wonderful form of medicine.”
